I have a Bachelor's in Mass Communications from Southwestern College of Kansas and have been in radio for over 12 years. Though my primary role for close to the last 5 years was co-hosting mornings, I also maintained solo shifts in and out of market, hosted multiple events a month, started a super-fun podcast, helped with logs, and filled in for our PD on occasion.
As half of a 2 man team, I also served as our show’s social media lead. This is one of the things I am most proud of! We built a thriving online community for our listeners to connect with us and each other, helping them feel they were truly part of the show. We were honored several times by the KAB, including 1st place as "Personality of the Year - Large Market." For over 4 years, our ratings saw tremendous growth, reaching top 5 status in the market.

During that time, I was the top endorser in our market, consistently maintaining 6-8 clients on average. One of the strongest talents I feel I have to offer is as a voice-artist. I have found that my work as a free-lancer marries well with my work on-air, bringing and retaining clients to the cluster who wish to use my voice exclusively for their branding across multiple platforms.
And then, the shoe dropped. Our station was downsized. When we were let go, the latest trend saw us #1 in our demo with a 15 share. Radio, amiright? As a native of Wichita, it has been an honor to connect every single day to the people who love this city just as much as I always have. I was definitely bummed when our team was let go (I loved that job), but it also left me feeling excited to welcome the opportunity to embrace a new city, new challenges, and new listeners to learn and grow with.
