I will be co-hosting the American Heart Association's 'Go Red For Women' in Wichita, KS on September 26th.
Heart disease is the #1 killer for women, claiming 1 out of every 5 females in the United States. Those statistics became frighteningly real last year when my mother had a heart attack. Thankfully, she survived without any permanent damage and is doing much better today! So when I was approached about being a part of this event, I immediately knew it was something I had to do.
